Site safety has never been as important of topic and ensuring that those supervising on your site are up to date with their responsibilities, what’s required of them and legal duties is important.

SSSTS training courses are a great way to ensure that these people have the foundation and know what’s expected of them. These courses are a fantastic way of gaining the basic health and safety understanding that many don’t have when working in junior management positions on a construction site.

What does it involve?

The SSSTS course will cover a whole myriad of areas and will give those on-site a grasp of health and safety, welfare and environmental issues for supervisors. This is something extremely beneficial on a site.

It covers:

  • Occupational health issues within the industry and what site supervisors are expected to do
  • How health and safety law works and is structured and how the role of a supervisor fits with those further up the chain of command.
  • Instruction on how to partake in risk assessments and an understanding of what’s required.
